Vehicle Wraps & Protection for Cyrville and Innes
Ottawa's trades and courier belt, ten minutes from the studio
The Cyrville and Innes corridor is where a large share of Ottawa's trades, courier, and service businesses are actually based: a belt of warehouses, service bays, and yards running either side of the Queensway between St. Laurent and Blair. Vehicles here are working assets with high daily kilometre counts and short dwell times, which shapes every recommendation on this page: nothing that keeps a van off the road for a week is worth proposing, however good it would look. We are about ten minutes east, which is what makes staged fleet work practical.
Car Wraps
Wraps that survive a working vehicle's week
Most enquiries from this belt are commercial rather than cosmetic, and the honest constraint is time off the road. What we do about it is sequence: measure and print before the vehicle arrives so the install itself is a predictable one-to-two days rather than an open-ended booking. Material choice also shifts for working vehicles: matte and satin hide the light scuffing a service van inevitably picks up, where full gloss advertises it. For owner-operators who want a colour change on a personal vehicle, the same catalogue applies: 3M and Avery Dennison across gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, and colour-shift, hand-trimmed and post-heated so edges hold through freeze-thaw.
Paint Protection Film
Film for high-kilometre local driving
A courier or service vehicle based here can put on more kilometres in a year than a commuter does in three, almost all of it on city arterials and the Queensway rather than open highway. That mix produces both problems: sustained brine exposure on the 417 through winter, and constant low-speed contact at door edges and rear bumpers from dozens of stops a day. Coverage has to address both, so we scope front end for the highway legs plus door cups, door edges, and bumper tops for the stop-and-go. On a vehicle this heavily used the case for film is straightforwardly financial: it protects resale on an asset that gets sold on a fixed cycle. XPEL and 3M, wrapped edges, up to ten years on material.
Ceramic Coating
Coating that makes a fleet wash actually work
Businesses in this belt typically wash vehicles on a schedule, often at a coin bay or with a pressure washer in the yard, and the limiting factor is how much can be achieved in a few minutes per vehicle. Ceramic coating raises what a fast wash accomplishes: contaminants sit on a slick, non-porous layer rather than bonding to clear coat, so a rinse removes road film that would otherwise need contact washing. Over a fleet that is a real labour reduction, and it also prevents the swirl accumulation that repeated hurried washing puts into paint. Packages run 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year, roughly $500 to $2,100 depending on vehicle size and paint condition, always after decontamination.
Window Tinting
Tinting for drivers who spend the day in the cab
For a courier or trades driver the cab is a workplace for eight or more hours, and the relevant benefits are thermal comfort and glare control rather than privacy. The Queensway runs almost due east-west through this corridor, which means both the morning and evening legs are driven into low direct sun for much of the year, a genuine visibility and fatigue issue, not a styling preference. Ceramic film cuts infrared load substantially at any given visible darkness, so the cabin is manageable without going dark. Regarding the law: we install film, we are not legal advisers. We provide each film's visible light transmission figure and ask you to confirm the current requirements for your province of registration before choosing. The darkness decision is the customer's.
Please note: we install window film, we do not give legal advice. Tint regulations differ by province and can change, so we disclose each film’s visible light transmission figure and ask you to confirm the current requirements for the province your vehicle is registered in. The choice of tint darkness is yours. Full details in our window tint compliance policy.
Chrome Delete & Upgrades
Quick trim work that fits a service schedule
Chrome delete is the one aesthetic job that fits comfortably into a working vehicle's week, because it is typically a single day: window surrounds, grille bars, badges, and mirror caps blacked out in gloss or satin vinyl, fully reversible. For businesses running leased vans (common here, since lease cycles suit a depreciating working asset), that reversibility is what makes it viable at all. There is a practical benefit too: dark trim conceals the road film and salt haze that a high-mileage local vehicle carries most of the winter, so the vehicle looks maintained for longer between washes.
Commercial & Fleet
Staged fleet installs with nothing off the road
This is the service most of our Cyrville and Innes clients come for, and proximity is the whole advantage. Rather than surrendering several vehicles at once, an operator can send one unit at a time (collected before the next is dropped) so dispatch capacity never dips. Colour and layout consistency across a fleet assembled that way is the hard part, and we keep print files, material lots, and installer notes on record so the fifth van matches the first months later. Bilingual layouts where the customer base warrants it, and designs built around legibility at traffic speed: one dominant mark, one service line, one contact method.
Tesla, EV & Luxury
Electric vans, upfitted vehicles, and cargo interiors
Fleet electrification is arriving here faster than in most parts of the city, and electric vans need genuine care around sensor housings and camera apertures so driver-assist systems behave as designed, plus recognition that several models use thin factory paint intolerant of aggressive correction. The more common complication is upfitting: shelving, ladder racks, partitions, and roof hardware already fitted to a working van. We quote removal and refitting of that hardware rather than trimming film around it, because film cut around a rack edge lifts within a season. We also handle interior cargo-area protection, which is unglamorous but the request we get most often from operators here.
Getting Here
Booking from Cyrville / Innes
From Cyrville or the Innes Road corridor, Innes east to Stevenage Drive, or the 417 to the Innes exit, commonly ten to fifteen minutes, and short enough that dropping a vehicle does not cost a driver their morning. That proximity is the reason most of our multi-vehicle work comes from this belt: we can cycle a fleet through one unit at a time with the operator collecting each before the next goes in.
